Trick-or-Treat, with a Twist
This year for Halloween, I decided to switch things up!
In the past, I’ve always loved gifting Halloween books along with candy – because who doesn’t love a spooky story to go with their treats?
But let’s be honest… prices are creeping and it’s getting trickier for families to even afford the treats part of “trick or treat.”
So, I started thinking.
A Little Vintage Inspiration
If you’ve been around Alex Inspired for a while, you already know my love language is vintage advertising. Give me all the mid-century modern fonts, retro illustrations, and those perfectly kitschy early-‘90s vibes – I can’t get enough!! Pair that with my love of colouring (Tali and I can easily lose hours colouring while listening to The Nutcracker Suite), and I had a lightbulb moment!

This Halloween, instead of just candy, I’m sharing something that sparks creativity and nostalgia – a vintage-inspired Halloween colouring page!

How to Print
If you’re feeling ambitious (and want to make something larger than life), try using the Staples Engineering Print option online.
The 24×36 size fits two prints per page, making it easy to cut right down the middle (I added a crop) and voilà! Two giant masterpieces ready for colouring.
