2016 Marked the 70th Anniversary of the Polish Combatants’ Association. What is the Association? SPK (English Acronym) is an organization started by Polish Soldiers in exile when the Second World War ended. This group supported veterans all over the world, ensuring their culture and heritage would never be forgotten, no matter where they ended up.
For this special occasion, as an SPK member and a executive member, I worked together with the Publication Committee to come up with a commemorative booklet to mark the occasion. The booklet is filled with special memorabilia and photographs, documenting the history of the organization.
The 48 page booklets were printed locally at Rainbow Printers in full colour, saddle stitched and distributed at the commemorative banquet in Toronto. They were also mailed out among the other branches within Canada. A matching program printed on white linen was also distributed to banquet attendees.
